9 am until 12 pm AK time each day, with a short break mid-session
The first day of the symposium will focus on a speed talk activity. We would like to hear from every co-I on the grant and from collaborators that have grant-related research. We welcome participation from anyone who is interested in our program. The objectives are to get everyone up-to-date on exciting research, education and outreach activities and hear each person’s voice. We will use the elements of the talks to work together to make connections among results, scrutinize our conceptual model, and discuss future pathways for the program.
On the second day of the symposium, we will allocate time to syntheses and discussion of speed talks, introduce the new leadership team and a timeline for grant writing, and discuss outcomes from our strategic planning processes. We again welcome anyone who would like to learn more about our plans for the future of the program.
