Internet Map ServicesFour internet map services are available for viewing locations and characteristics of our research areas and study sites. You may zoom and pan to areas of interest as well as query the server for information about study sites.
Select a map service: There are currently four map services available. A map service is a self-contained collection of themes related to a specific spatial scale. Each service contains different layers and themes according to the spatial scale to which it was designed.
Browser compatibility (Macintosh): The map services presented above use Arcims software developed by Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI). The software requires an advanced browser to operate effectively (version 4 or greater of Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator). Macintosh users running Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser may not be able to use these map services. If you encounter problems please report them to the LTER data manager. For best results a broadband internet connection is recommended. Disclaimer: The information made available on the Bonanza Creek LTER map servers are as accurate as our time and resources allow.
